Your chest certainly indicates a wedding between the two noble families some time around the middle of the 16th C (a dating suggested by the style of the carvings). “Unfortunately” it seems that Evert Bild, who married Vibeke Podebusk in 1549 used another emblem, a horizontally divided shield. But I suppose that you will be able to find some more information if you look for the families Bildt and Podebusk on the internet.
