und gratuliere - ein wirklich schöner Fang. Spätestens seit dem Aufenthalt von Queen Victoria eh legendär, ist die Villa ein bekanntes & beliebtes Motiv. Und dass Du alles zusammen genau so lassen willst, ist zum einen stimmig und auch richtig (s.u.). Ob nun spätviktorianisch oder früh-jugendstilig wüsste ich da noch nicht mal nicht recht zu unterscheiden - sage einfach: Belle Époque hatte viele Spielarten.
Einen 'Künstler' direkt hab ich auch so bisher nicht - aber historisch lässt sich doch was belegen. Nur eine Kleinigkeit fiel mich zuerst an "Mr Clifford Harrison, who has prolonged his visit at Villa Edelweiss" - das ist aus der Zeitung "The Queen, The Lady's Newspaper, April 5, 1890" - er war also genau dann da
es kommt eine Warnung von FF wg. ungültigem Zertifikat, aber es ist die FIT State Library of New York

der Zeitung? ja - "The Queen June 7, 1890 - Mr George Grossmith, after an extended stay in the provinces, has returned to town for a while, and on Saturday afternoon, at St. James’s Hall, gave his “Humorous and Musical Recital” before a large audience. The entertainment is in three parts, consisting of a Humorous Musical Sketch, entitled “ Society up to Date,” and a new descriptive sketch, called “On Tour; or, Piano and the third part being devoted to imitations of certain types of amateurs
and of some well-known professional artists— Mr Irving, Mr Corney Grain, and Mr Clifford Harrison being among the number. Those who have already heard Mr Grossmith —and who has not ?—will hardly need to be told with what consummate humour, and, at the same time, with what invariable geniality and good nature, he hits off the fashionable follies of the hour, or to what excellent purpose he applies his very limited vocal resources and his greater powers as a pianist.

Nun - Du hast es zumindest mit einem damals in der Gesellschaft durchaus bekannten Herrn zu tun, einem 'well-known professional artist' der auch in gehobenen Kreisen verkehrte. Aber eher ein Bühnen-Künstler? da muss man dann mal sehen, wo sich dazu noch was finden lässt-
ok - da "Writing about recitation in her memoirs, Peggy observed that the art of recitation died with Clifford Harrison. Harrison, a former actor, embarked on a career as reciter in 1877 and from then until ill-health curtailed his career in 1888 performed at ... "
