As to the book - that is the author, an educator and theologian [Gäste sehen keine Links] - with translator [Gäste sehen keine Links]

The title "Gemählde aus dem häuslichen Leben und Erzählungen" means sth. like 'Pictures from domestic life and tales' - there were 4 collections released in Berlin originally between 1793–1798 - whereof you show copy of no. 3. There were two more editions later.

If one takes a look there (a catalogue where books are listed in libraries f.e.) it shows, that mainly exemplars from the later editions are kept [Gäste sehen keine Links] - if that could be of any importance I personally can't rate

I think all volumes are already digitized and who wants to read them can do it also that way. So the number of prospective buyers for aquiring a paper copy maybe rel. limited...
