Vielleicht kann mir jemand von euch bestätigen ob diese Vase sogenanntes "Tango Glas" von Loetz ist?
Es ist keine Signatur vorhanden.

Hallo Andy, I cannot say for sure that this is a Loetz vase. After WWII the Loetz Company continued to produce fine artware, some of which made in the early 1900s bears a striking resemblance to Tiffany's with whom Loetz was associated at one time. The early Loetz pieces are usually signed however there are unsigned pieces that are surfacing. The marjority of Loetz pieces will have a polished pontil.

after a little bit more research I have found that the vase is in deed the "Tango Glass" but not all vases with stripes were designed by Michael Powolny, they were also not all made by Loetz.

Thanks rw, that has helped a lot. I did buy it as Loetz, but obviously not all dealers are knowledgable as to what is genuine or not.

Hi Andy, it is hard to say whether it is or is not a Loetz vase ohne sie in der Hand zu halten. It is a fact that nothing was signed after 1903 especially minor quality items however, having said that, I would expect a superb Loetz vase to be signed. I will keep on digging in my spare time and let you know if I find something positive.
It is a beautiful vase that I would have also purchased.

There are a view excellent books on the market so wie: Loetz Bohemian Glas 1880-1940 it pays to just have a look at it .
